memior 1: holiday

Picture
My most memroble holiday is last Christmas. My family and I took a plane from Los Angeles to England. We touched down in Heathrow London. My great uncle Julian picked us upon and drove us to his house. It was raining. When I looked out the window of his BMW  I saw beautiful green hills, small villages and cottages, and in the distance central London. We got to his house after forty minutes. We were met by my great aunt Suzie. They live in a nice standard London house. Although it is four story's tall it fells like there is hardly any room. All the corridors are really thin and the ceilings are quite low. My grandmother, aunt, uncle, and two little cousins join us for tea and dinner that night. I make a really cool Lego army with my cousin Vigo and I slid down the stairs and played games with my six year old cousin Fredrick. They used to live in Germany. The next day I was walking to the nearby park and met Mack or George (not sure). That night we took the plane to Nairobi, Kenya. We spent spent one night in the Aero Club. They had really good chips and ginger beers. My mom had stayed there when she was a child. We woke up that morning and cought a tiny airoplane to Mombasa. We then got in a taxi and drove for a couple hours to our house in Diani. Twe had to take a ferry over the lake to get there. When we get close to the house it starts to transition from city to rainforest. Our house is in the middle of the rainforest. We go through the gate and drive on to our property. For ten minutes we drive through the forest. There are monkeys everywhere. We have four types of monkeys. They are Baboons, Colobus, sykes, and Vervets. We get to our house and share two weeks with our second cousins. We do so many cool things. I will talk about five. We paddle boarded two miles straight out on the ocean to reach the reef. We do a version of tubing using boogie boards attached to the motor boat by strings. We ride camels. Once we visited a mall where we were aloud to haggle down the prices of the items we bought. We kiaked out to the shallow reef and looked at the animals. It was so fun. We woke up in the morning to a lovely fresh breakfast cooked by our shef. The cleaning lady would clean our clothes. We have a guard of four that increases to ten on Christmas. The have rifles, slingshots, and clubs. Traders would come to our house to offer things and we would always have fresh food for lunch and dinner every day because we would buy it from the fishermen in the morning. We could choose from lots of options because there were lots of salesmen that specified in different animals. We then went to Lions bluff. It is a beautiful place where the mountins stretch for miles. The hotel is the only human residence in the whole park. From our room we could see elephant herds, gazells, giraffes, lions, buffalo, rhinosoruses, cheetahs, and leopards. We could plainly see a water hole where the animals drink. We took a few amazing safaris and it was mind blowing. We then took a horrifying drive to Nanuyoki. The huge trucks were driving on the wrong side of the road coming strait towards you just to over take one small car. It was so scary and awesome. We chilled out with our cousins at there house in Nanyuki. We swam in their dam. We then went on an amazing safari-camping experience. We drove for many hours in the truck. The chef sat with the gaurds in the second truck. We were the second people ever to camp in that forest. There was a natural pool and a river. There were many hikes to take and things to do. We would have campfire every night. I saw the gaurds kill a live goat and rip it lim from lim and eat the heart raw. It was cool. Then we swam with our great aunt and uncle in their pool back in Nanyuki. We then stayed with them for a while. That was the last time I saw my uncle Antony before he crashed his plane last year. He was extremely nice and funny. I miss him. We then took a plan back to America. It was a really fun and I will never forget that holiday.

memoir 2: family

Picture

My most adorable relative is by far my little cousin. His official name is Fredrick, but everyone calls him Moppy. He is seven years old. He is my mums sisters youngest son. He is scared of the word acid. I named one of my old chickens after him. He has lived in three countries. He has no particular phrases that he likes to say. He is normal height for a seven year old. He has blond hair and blue eyes. He has very pale skin. He is very polite and charming. Sometimes he struggles with hard words. He loves playing games with people. He likes his trains, Lego, gormiti, and his playmobile. He likes playing with his turtle. He lost his turtle as soon as he got it. It's always fun to play with him because he laughs and giggles all the time. I don't remembers our first meeting. He have a special connection because we are the perfect age apart from each other. To me he is my smally funny little cousin. To him I am his big "mature?" cousin. Our relation ship is like a camel and a llama, different yet the same. He is the best little cousin in the whole wide world.

memoir 3: event

The historical event that I have lived through is the queens Diamond Jubilee. The Queens Diamond Jubilee is a celebration that the queen has been alive long enough to rule the a certain period of time. The Jubilee is on Mack Muir’s sister’s birthday! The Queens Diamond Jubilee was her sixtieth anniversary.  There were boats and rowers riding next to her on her big ship. in the River Thames.  I remember watching it on tv and then switching it to Survivor on CBS. It was really important for both England and me.
